Norfolk, Va. – As the Fourth of July approaches—and because many cities are already experiencing amateur fireworks displays night after night, many louder than in past years— PETA shares these brief but potentially lifesaving tips. THE DEADLY CONSEQUENCES OF ‘NO-KILL’ POLICIES. It’s appalling to contemplate, but when shelters give in to pressure to go “no-kill” before they have overcome the breeding and selling of animals in their communities and before establishing sufficient spaying and neutering services, the results are often far worse for animals than a peaceful death through euthanasia.

Popular in Renaissance painting and sculpture alike, the use of pyramidal composition—an artistic technique of placing a scene or subject within an imaginary triangle—aids the viewer as they observe a work of art by leading their eye around the composition. Such a silhouette also suggests stability, which Michelangelo further implied

Beavers. Beavers are extremely gentle, family-oriented animals who mate for life and remain lifelong friends with their offspring. The second-largest rodent in the world, the beaver can live 19 years, reach 60 pounds, and grow up to 4 feet long. Baby beavers, or “kits,” are usually born to hard-working, loving parents who have been together
PETA’s members are sent to laboratories, factories and search for documentation proving the fact of cruel treatment of animals. The members of PETA can work in such factories or laboratories, for months searching for the needed information. PETA stated that by 2007, the members of the organization had conducted 75 investigations.

These Celebrities Have All Spoken Out Against Animal Testing. Each year in the U.S. alone, more than 111 million animals—including mice, rats, frogs, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, monkeys, fish, and birds—are killed for biology lessons, medical training, curiosity-driven experimentation, and testing for chemicals, drugs, food

While the public feels that keeping animals in captivity is wrong, SeaWorld and PETA can work together to create a compromise to stop breeding, release healthy animals, and start helping animals in need. SeaWorld is a multi-million dollar theme park that inhabits marine life from all around the world as a form of entertainment for the public.
This essay is a case study analysis of PETA and its "shock advertising" methods. The student uses three questions to probe whether PETA's marketing can be considered marketing, whether it should use "shock advertising" methods, and whether this approach helps or hurts it

An example of an organization that seems to be in line with my own concerns about the environment and animals is Sea Shepherd. One valuable resource that I use to check on environmental organizations is PETA’s Mean Greenies Web site, which grades environmental groups on their stance against animal testing.
